Carl & Sloan contemporary was founded in 2015 by Portland artist Ashley Sloan and me, where I was the gallery director. Carl & Sloan sought to bring New York-level gallery professionalism and authority to the Portland art scene.
















Small city. Big gallery.

The gallery went on to receive wide acclaim from national press and arts institutions, and we eventually closed the doors after two succesful years to tackle new projects.
